Monique Myers
Author, Speaker
Leadership & Faith Communicator
Every journey begins with one next step.
Monique Myers is an author, speaker, and Bible teacher who helps children and adults discover that even when the path ahead feels uncertain, God is faithfully leading the way.
Whether she's writing stories that spark wonder, teaching Scripture, or encouraging women through the On the Journey community, Monique's passion is helping people trust God with the chapter they're living today.
That passion was born from her own story.
Like many women, Monique has walked through seasons of brokenness, uncertainty, leadership challenges, and healing. Along the way, she discovered that God's faithfulness isn't reserved for life's mountaintops. He meets us in the valleys, the waiting, and the unexpected detours, often doing His deepest work there.
Today, Monique writes to remind readers of that truth. Her upcoming children's series, Mia and the Mapmaker, invites young readers to trust the One who always knows the way. Her Bible teaching, writing, and speaking encourage women to take their next faithful step with courage and hope.
Professionally, Monique serves as Assistant Director of Engagement & Impact for UToledo Health, where she leads initiatives focused on community engagement, healthcare access, leadership development, and strategic partnerships. Throughout her career, she has worked in education, healthcare, nonprofit leadership, and community impact, helping individuals and organizations create meaningful change. Her heart for leadership extends beyond her profession.
Monique serves at CedarCreek Church as a GrowthTrack teacher, DreamTeam leader, devotional writer, and mentor. She is passionate about helping others discover their gifts, develop their leadership, and step into their calling with confidence.
Monique lives in Northwest Ohio with her husband, Kurt, and is the proud mother of four children. She treasures every opportunity to gather around a table, share stories, and point others toward the God who is still writing beautiful endings.
Because the journey isn't over.
And the Mapmaker is still leading the way.
